Dear Friend,

The Bible Foundation Annual October Bible Drive in the Pacific Northwest has been supported by K-LOVE Radio, KPDQ, KKPZ & KKSL, KHPE, KCCS, Christian News Northwest, Mission Portland, Christian Supply, plus many others. Please participate and help promote the drive and collect Bibles.

Bibles, damaged Bibles, even pieces of old Bibles can be taken to over thirty collection sites in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. If you can collect Bibles and find a way to get them to Newberg, OR, please let us list you on this webpage www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm .

The network of Bible collection centers around the USA has grown to include the states of AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, and Canada. This network along with the Internet and email and much national publicity has seen good solid interest develop around the country for the free movement of surplus Bibles. Information is available at http://www.bf.org/bibledrive or by sending an email to bibledrive@bf.org.

The Bibles continue to go to needy people around the world and many lives are being transformed. Letters expressing deep gratitude and begging for more Bibles continue to come in. Used English Bibles are urgently needed overseas as a recent letter from a ministry in Africa shows. They work with refugees and prisoners and the letter said: "There is no people in the world that is as hungry and desperate to have a Bible of their own as these brethren. They will cherish even a single page torn from a Community Bible." To help people like this, even damaged Bibles can be taken to one of the collection sites. A list is available on web page www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm or contact Bible Foundation, PO Box 908, Newberg, OR 97132; (503)538-4897.

The annual October Bible Drive is again underway. The need for Bibles is very great so everyone is encouraged to participate and tell their friends. During the annual October drive, as well as throughout the year, Bibles, even damaged ones may be taken to a collection site. A list of the collection sites is available on web page www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm or contact Bible Foundation, PO Box 908, Newberg, OR 97132; (503) 538-4897.

English Bibles are being sent to over 30 countries besides the United States and they go to hospitals, nursing homes, inner city churches & ministries, rescue missions, ship ministries, prison & jail ministries, homeless shelters, street ministries, ethnic neighborhood ministries, migrant camps, and individual ministries. You can help with the Bible drive. Bibles, even damaged ones may be taken to a collection site. A list of the collection sites is available on web page www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm or contact Bible Foundation, PO Box 908, Newberg, OR 97132; (503)538-4897.

In remote Buddhist villages in Sri Lanka, no Christian bookshops or public preaching about the Lord Jesus is allowed. Yet through small home Bible study groups the need for English Bibles grows. New believers, too poor to afford a Bible, are overjoyed to receive one as a gift. To help people like this, even damaged Bibles can be taken to one of the collection sites. A list is available on web page www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm or contact Bible Foundation, PO Box 908, Newberg, OR 97132; (503)538-4897.

The son of the chief fetish priest of a shrine in Ghana wrote asking for an English Bible. Home cell churches in Zambia are growing and "more people are 'hungry' for the word of God." A ministry in Trinidad & Tobago received a shipment of Bibles and they "went like hot bread from a bakery." To help people like this, even damaged Bibles can be taken to one of the collection sites. A list is available on web page www.bf.org/bibledrive/northwest.htm or contact Bible Foundation, PO Box 908, Newberg, OR 97132; (503)538-4897.

The need around the world for English Bibles seems limitless. One request is from Agnes in CAMEROON who asked for Bibles for their work saying they go into the interiors to witness and hold crusades, traveling to the villages on foot and by canoe. You can help people like Agnes by collecting surplus Bibles, even damaged ones and taking them to a collection site or contact Bible Foundation, (503) 538-4897.

Surplus Bibles from America are greatly appreciated overseas. A letter from MALAWI shows this. A pastor wrote about giving out some of the Bibles and said "People received with joy of tears in their eyes. Thank you for your food of love sending us the Word of God." You can help people like this by taking surplus Bibles, even damaged ones, to a collection site or contact Bible Foundation, (503) 538-4897.
